CGCalendar v.03
Written by Craig G. Callan (08.94)
---------------------------------------
Originally CGCalendar was written as a way to teach myself how to
program the Amiga in C and, given enough time, will become yet another
titlebar clock program. It won't only be a titlebar clock though; it
will be abvle to display a calendar (as it does now) with appointments
and reminders in it and will perform time calculations, and maybe some
other things if I can think of any (suggestions are welcome, just remember
that I'm a beginner to programming the Amiga and C in particular :)).
There's nothing to know anout using this program as it will display
a calendar right now and nothing else. There are two versions: CGCalDos
will display a calendar in a CLI window, if it's a leap year the year will
have an asterisk (*) next to it. The other program, CGCal, displays a
calendar in a window with the julian date, time, and whether or not it's
leap year. There's one problem with this version though, when the window
is not activated it will not update the clock or date (?), I'm reading the
RKRM to try to start the clock as a separate task - might take awhile though.
The date gets checked every second or so to see if it has changed and if so
the display will be redrawn, the clock is checked continuously so that'll
be pretty accurate.
Known Bugs: None known of except the above mentioned anomalies.
If you like this program or have any problems/suggestions, please
either leave me E-Mail at the Gateway BBS (601-374-2697, my alias is
"Pumpkin Head") or write me at 500 B St #24487; Keesler AFB, MS 39534-2268.
You are free to rape and pillage my code but please do not release this
program in your name. If you use any of my code please give me a little
credit - that's all I ask...
